The Chapel of Wat Kao Chong Pran

Wat Kao Chong Pran is located in the community of Mon people (an ethic group of Thailand) in Ratchburi. Due to people in the community wish to have a huge chapel, they reserved a big piece of land at the base of the mountain to be a construction site. The actual size of the site and the chapel are determined by the architect as its necessary. The outside decorative design at the gable is a sculpture of laminate in a pattern of wild flowers. The roof decorative made of stainless steel instead of traditional colorful glass for a better duration. Hence, this Chapel is a combination between the traditional style and new material which gives an extraordinary beauty.
