Thai Pavilion in Hamburg, Germany
This is the biggest Thai pavilion
in Europe, located at Hagenbeck Park, Hamburg, Germany. This
pavilion is dedicated to His Majesty the King Bhumipol Adulayadej
on his 72th birthday. Hence, the classification of architecture
is at its highest level with the most perfect decoration for
the Royal pavilion. The construction made of hard wood and decorated
with carved teak wood finishing with real gold leaves. The process
follows Thai traditional method of decoration. It takes 5 months
to construct in Thailand and then knocked down into small pieces
for shipping which takes one month for delivery and another
2 months for reconstructing in Germany.
